Shannon Jensen Photography – Introducing Rowen and Myia

I have enjoyed a string of boy/boy twins. That string was broken with these tiny sweet boy/girl twins. It was nice to finally have a little girl in the mix. Rowen and Myia were so incredibly sweet, they absolutely adored being curled up together. That is one of the special things about twins, they have always been together from the beginning. My girls still sit on the couch with their legs crossing their sister’s legs without thinking anything of it.

It was such a joy to spend the afternoon with Rowen and Myia’s moms and their grandparents, you could tell these two little ones are surrounded by love in all directions and will have a fun and exciting life ahead of them. It is always such an honor to meet these tiny newborns when they are just a few days old, while watching how seamlessly they mold into their new family.

Miss Teagan got impatient and made her grand entrance 6 weeks early. She was itty bitty but such a fighter, she sped through her time in the NICU and got home in record time. I really enjoyed getting to know her and her family. She is definitely loved and has parents that will give her a fun and adventurous life. Here are a few of the images I captured of this gorgeous little girl.

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet this amazing family. They just had identical twin boys, only 2 weeks old. For those that know me, I have a huge weakness for twins, especially identical twins (I have identical twin girls that are 3.5 years old). I was actually lucky enough to photograph back to back identical twin boys over two weekends. I spent a lovely afternoon/evening with them and walked away realizing how lucky these boys were to have such a warm and loving home. They made having twins look easy, they were so much more calm than I was and clearly had the gift of parenting. Here are just a few of the images I captured from that afternoon/evening. If I get a chance I will also add a blog of the other identical twin boys I photographed as well.
